LOCKET docs

Brand

LOCKET: one secret per piece. The name is the mechanic. You swap the token, a piece lands in your wallet, and one of its traits stays sealed until you open it yourself.

Status

The mark

A vault opens: the mark and the motion both come from that one idea. White is the ceramic robot the vault holds and the frame around the glass. Lime is the coin, the vault's rim and the keyhole light. The collectible is toy-like, glossy and exact, a collectible brand with working machinery behind it, friendly rather than hyped.

Drawn by docs/js/docs-tile.js, a 2D preview of the same design and trait tables as the privacy contract.

Colour tokens

The site's own chrome, the pale mint pages this documentation and the landing page sit on. Light theme only.

TokenMeaning
--groundThe page background. Pale mint, never pure white.
--inkText and quiet parts. The deep green-black that reads as the site's real black.
--accentThe coin and the piece. The one lime that appears as fill.
--accent-deepThe only green allowed to carry text, when green text is needed at all.
--tintA pale lime ground for callouts, code and the glass pane's lightest shade.
--glowGlow and highlight only, such as the active page marker. Never used for text.
--cardWhite. The vault's frame and the robot inside it.

Piece artwork palette

The on-chain tile in contracts/src/LocketCollection.sol draws from its own, wider palette, all flat fills, no gradients, no filters and no outlines; the only ink in the picture is the pair of eyes. This is that whole palette, and nothing else appears in the artwork.

Type

Display headings set in Geologica. Body copy in Public Sans. Mono only where the content is machine data: hashes, addresses, amounts and code, never for ordinary prose.

Do and do not

Do

  • Let the object (the vault, the piece) carry the page. Chrome stays quiet.
  • Write plain words a stranger can read in seconds.
  • Design phone first. 390 and 360 are the real canvas.
  • Use mono only for real data.

Do not

  • Add a colour outside the tokens or the piece palette above, a gradient on text, or a glassmorphism blur.
  • Use beige, brown, or a random colour tangent.
  • Stack a card inside a card, or use a side-stripe border for emphasis.
  • Use developer jargon in a label a buyer will read.
